Day Samburu Camping Safari
Depart
Nairobi for Samburu national reserve arriving in time for lunch. A short safari
taking you to the semi-arid region of Kenya, Samburu Game Reserve.

SAMBURU CAMPING SAFARI starts
with a drive through central Kenya as you enjoy the spectacular views of the Kikuyu
settlements and coffee plantations, proceeding north across the equator to the
rugged landscapes of Samburu National Reserve. Drive to sentrim camp samburu the
tree hotel that is set on the slopes of snowcapped Mount Kenya., ringed by a dense
rain forest that comes alive at dusk with the myriad sounds of creatures all sizes.
Then proceed to the floor of the Great Rift Valley visiting Lake Nakuru National
Park before heading further to Kenya's most spectacular of all parks and reserves,
Maasai Mara Game Reserve where you will have the best opportunity of spotting
the Big Five ( lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant)
Dinner
and overnight at Samburu Sentrim Camp.
Day
1: Samburu:
You will be received at the Jomo Kenyatta International
airport, Nairobi, where you will be met by your tour representative. Depart for
Samburu Game Reserve, the semi arid region of the nomadic Samburu people. Game
drive after lunch allows viewing of the rare local species of Zebra and Giraffe.

Day
2: Samburu:
Full day at Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives.
Rest of day at leisure.

3: Samburu:
After a relaxed buffet breakfast, you will leave for
a scenic drive to Nairobi .Complimentary lunch at Carnivore Restaurant, arguably
Africa's most famous restaurant. Afternoon transfer to shopping malls for last
minute shopping, and to the airport for flight home. ( B,L )
